Client runs an e-commerce company that offers comprehensive in-house solutions for creating branded products. Their services range from product selection, manufacturing, and importing to product ordering and post-sale activities.

We partnered up to move their e-commerce business to a higher level. Despite having an established ecosystem of e-commerce stores operating on three continents and handling 20 brands in 30 different languages, they encountered several challenges:

Existing solutions on the market simply didn’t cut it for them, woocomerce, shopify, magento, none of these solutions were solving specific problems they had, so they opted out and invested into creating their own custom software solution with us as their software development partner.

After discussing the project requirements, we collaborated with our client to develop a content management system (CMS) enhanced with state-of-the-art automated features. We aimed to harmonize not only several but all processes within the company, resulting in boosted earnings and efficiency.

Reducing Time to Product Launch from Months to Hours

To make the process of adding, selecting, and modifying web content more convenient and fast, our software engineers implemented a user-friendly WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor. As the name implies, it allows users to see exactly how the uploaded content will look on the website, making further changes easier and faster. 

The editor features an intuitive interface and allows manipulation of different content types and website elements such as text, images, videos, etc.  A notable feature of the editor is a template creator, which enables users to spend less time creating highly converting product pages. With a drag-and-drop function, web elements can be added within seconds. 

In addition, the template creator comes with pre-designed layouts that can be used as a starting point for creating new pages. This makes it easy for users to create a consistent look for websites, without starting from scratch each time.

From Days to Minutes: The Power of Automated Content Localization

Managing 1000s products daily and operations from 34 countries was extremely challenging and time-consuming. Existing available online tools did not provide enough content management capabilities either.
Considering everything, our developers decided to bring automation to the table! The automated functionalities drastically reduced the time needed for generating localized text content and video creatives, from days to minutes! This significantly increased output from a few videos a day to thousands.

  • The Scaling & Translation feature has the capability of translating text-based content added into the system automatically and reaching a global audience easily. This way, our client can be sure the content is translated accurately for each country and brand. 
  • The Image and Video Text Localisation is a comprehensive solution that eliminates the need for manual translations and handles both the content on the client’s pages and shops as well as ad materials. 

Streamlining Product Management: Significantly reduced operating costs

One of the client’s challenges was managing the data related to their products. From prices and promotions to stock levels, there was a lot of information to keep track of. To simplify this process, we built a feature allowing the client to manage all their product data from one central location. 

The Product Data Management feature comes with the following options: 

  • Managing prices, promotions, and stock levels.
  • Modifying prices in real-time.
  • Making price adjustments per country, shop, or brand.
  • Keeping customers up-to-date. 
  • Monitoring profits.
